Hi, my name is Rachel Feinberg and I’m the owner & operator of Fein Goods, a cottage bakery located in Montclair, NJ — meaning I’m licensed to make and sell baked goods out of my home (AKA cottage!)

I’ve loved to bake since I was a child. Whether I was begging my parents to buy the newest recipes for my Easy Bake Oven or having my grandpa teach me how to cut & place strips of dough for an apple pie, it’s been one of my favorite things to do for most of my life.

Fueled by my sweet tooth and natural gift for baking, I took over the responsibility for making pumpkin pie each Thanksgiving when I was just in middle school, and I’ve only taken my skills to new heights as time has gone on.

During the pandemic lockdown I was stuck inside my house with 6 other people (and 2 dogs!) and needed something to keep me sane. Luckily for my family, that thing was baking. I started off just making dessert for them one night, and then another the next night, then another and another and before I knew it I’d baked something every day for over 50 days in a row!

While I enjoyed experimenting with new recipes and pushing the boundaries of what I thought myself capable of, it became clear what my family (and friends, once lockdown restrictions eased up) kept coming back for: cinnamon rolls. Fluffy, light, melt-in-your-mouth and flavorful without being overly sweet, my cinnamon rolls quickly turned into a fan favorite and were the initial product I launched Fein Goods with!

Along with classic cinnamon, Fein Goods offers a variety of customizable toppings and mix-ins to suit your tastes, no matter how you roll! And if cinnamon rolls aren’t your thing, you can still find plenty of other available goodies like cookies, brownies, bars and more.
